WHAT IS VELASHAPE?
Cellulite is structure, not just fat.
Cellulite appears when fat pushes up through the skin while fibrous bands pull it down, creating the familiar dimpled look on the thighs, buttocks and tummy. It affects most women at some point, whatever their weight, and hormones, genetics and circulation all play a part.
Velashape works on that structure. Infrared light and bipolar radiofrequency heat the fat and connective tissue, while vacuum and rollers lift and massage the skin to boost circulation and lymphatic drainage. Infrared light
Warms the tissue down to a few millimetres, preparing it for the radiofrequency and improving blood flow.
Bipolar radiofrequency
Energy flows between the two electrodes, through the fold of skin, to heat the fat and connective tissue more deeply. It shrinks fat cells and stimulates collagen.
Vacuum

AFTER YOUR SESSION
Simple aftercare.
- Warmth and pinkness for a few hours are normal; occasionally mild bruising.
- Drink plenty of water and keep the skin moisturised.
- Stay active and keep a stable weight: it protects the result.
- Complete the course and book maintenance as advised.
WHEN IT IS NOT SUITABLE
We will not treat, or will wait, if you:
- Have a pacemaker, defibrillator or other implanted electronic device.
- Have metal implants in the area, or a copper IUD when treating the abdomen.
- Are pregnant, or have an infection, open wound or sunburn in the area.
- Had surgery in the area recently: RF starts only when the doctor says so.
