WHAT IS MALE BOTOX?
Botulinum toxin is injected in tiny, precise amounts into the muscles that create expression lines. The muscle relaxes, so the skin above it creases less: the forehead, the frown between the brows and the crow's feet around the eyes look smoother, without surgery and without downtime.
It works on dynamic lines, the ones that appear when you frown, squint or raise your eyebrows, and helps stop them deepening with time.
Deep lines that are visible even at rest may need a combined plan, for example with skin boosters or dermal fillers, discussed at consultation.
WHY MEN NEED A DIFFERENT PLAN
Male faces are not female faces with shorter hair. Stronger muscles, a lower and flatter brow and heavier skin change how much product is needed and exactly where it goes.
Men usually have more muscle mass in the forehead and frown area, so studies show they often need a higher dose than women for the same effect.
