Male breast reduction surgery is a simple procedure to reduce the size of male breasts and improve their contour. The results are evident immediately after the procedure and are final.
The procedure may involve gland removal, fat liposuction or a combination of both. In some patients, for a better cosmetic result, it is necessary to incorporate the removal of excess skin. The nipple-areolar complex can be reduced and relocated higher on the chest, if needed.

What causes gynecomastia?
The exact cause is not well known, but gynecomastia has been correlated to some medications, hormonal imbalance and steroid use.
How is gynecomastia treated?
The only way to reverse gynecomastia is through male breast reduction surgery. During the operation, the surgeon uses a combination of liposuction and excision techniques to remove fat and glandular tissue.
Is there a non-surgical way of treating it?
No matter how hard you try with diet or exercise, the breasts will not get smaller. Exercise can reduce localised chest fat; however, it has no effect on the dense glandular tissue caused by gynecomastia. The only way to flatten an excessively large male chest is with male breast reduction surgery.
Is there visible scarring after the procedure?
We hide the incision lines carefully, and they should fade considerably after the operation. Most men are happy to exchange their enlarged breasts for barely visible scars.
