PRP VAMPIRE FACIAL · MONT FLEURI, MAHÉ
PRP Vampire Facial Seychelles. Your own blood, put back to work.
PRP vampire facial Seychelles, performed by Dr. Eric Licea: a small sample of your blood is drawn, spun in a centrifuge and separated into platelet-rich plasma: a concentrate of the growth factors your body uses to heal. Returned to the skin by microneedling or injection, it signals your cells to rebuild collagen. Nothing foreign is introduced.
- Autologous: the material is yours
- Single-use, medical-grade kits only
- Performed by Dr. Eric Licea, never by a spa

WHAT IS IN THE TUBE
Blood, spun into three layers.
A centrifuge separates your sample by density in a few minutes. Only the middle fraction is used: the platelet layer, where the growth factors live. Select a layer to see what it is and where it goes.
Platelets release PDGF, TGF-beta, VEGF and EGF, the signalling proteins that recruit fibroblasts and drive collagen synthesis. That is the whole mechanism: not a product, a set of instructions your skin already understands. Read the systematic review on PRP in facial rejuvenation (opens in a new tab).
Platelet-rich plasma. The fraction we use. Platelets are concentrated well above their normal level in blood, and with them the growth factors that tell fibroblasts to produce new collagen and repair tissue.
TWO WAYS IN
PRP Vampire Facial Seychelles: microneedled, injected, or both.
Decided by your skin
-
THE VAMPIRE FACIAL
PRP with microneedling
Micro-channels are created across the skin and the plasma is driven into them. The needling stimulus and the growth factors work together, which is why this is the version chosen for texture, pores and acne scarring.

-
TARGETED
PRP by injection
Plasma placed precisely where repair is needed: the under-eye hollows, fine lines, the neck. Less surface trauma, more control over depth and position.

SCALP
PRP for hair
The same plasma, injected into the scalp to wake dormant follicles and improve density, then finished with LED laser therapy. Each session takes about 45 minutes, and it is often booked alongside the facial.

YOUR SESSION
An hour, from the blood draw to the door.
Course of 3
01
Consultation and screening
We review your skin, your medication and your blood history. Anticoagulants, platelet disorders, active infection in the area and pregnancy all change the plan, and some of them rule the treatment out.
02
The blood draw
A small sample is taken from your arm, exactly as for a routine blood test, into a sterile single-use kit that is opened in front of you.
03
The centrifuge
The tube spins for several minutes and separates by density. The platelet-rich fraction is drawn off while numbing cream takes effect on your face.
04
The application
The plasma is microneedled across the treated area, injected where precision matters, or both. Expect pinpoint bleeding during needling, which is normal and stops quickly.
05
The next 48 hours
Redness like mild sunburn, sometimes slight swelling. Most people are presentable the next day and back in make-up after 24 hours.
06
The rest of the course
Three sessions, four to six weeks apart, is the usual protocol. Collagen takes months to build, so the result at session three is not the final result.
WHAT IT ANSWERS
Where PRP earns its reputation.
And where it does not
-
Acne scarring
Combined with microneedling, this is the indication with the strongest track record. Scars soften; they do not vanish.
-
Texture and fine lines
Pores look refined and the surface reads smoother as new collagen organises over the weeks after each session.
-
Dull, tired skin
The glow people describe is real, and it is the first thing to appear. It is also the first thing to fade without maintenance.
-
Thinning hair
Injected into the scalp, PRP stimulates dormant follicles and supports density in early-stage loss, for men and women.
PRP does not add volume, does not lift and does not relax muscles. If your concern is a deflated cheek or a deep frown line, filler or Botox is the correct tool, and we will say so rather than sell you a course.
SAFETY
Autologous does not mean risk-free.
Because the material is your own, there is no risk of allergy or rejection, which is the treatment’s real advantage. The risk that remains is handling: blood, needles and a centrifuge belong in a medical setting with single-use kits, labelled tubes and proper sharps disposal.
Outbreaks linked to unlicensed premises elsewhere in the world have all come from reused equipment and unsterile handling, never from the plasma itself. That is why every PRP vampire facial Seychelles patients receive here is performed by Dr. Eric Licea, and why we open every kit in front of you.
Expected afterwards
- Redness like mild sunburn for 24 to 48 hours.
- Pinpoint bleeding during needling, which settles quickly.
- Mild swelling, occasionally light bruising at injection points.
- No make-up, gym, sauna or direct sun for 24 hours.
Tell us before we draw
- Blood thinners, aspirin or anti-inflammatories.
- Platelet or clotting disorders, or anaemia.
- Active skin infection or an acne flare in the area.
- Pregnancy, breastfeeding, or recent oral acne treatment.
- Any blood-borne condition or current cancer treatment.

When volume is the real problem
No amount of regeneration replaces lost structure. Where the face has deflated, filler is the honest answer.

QUESTIONS
Before you book.
Who performs the PRP vampire facial Seychelles patients book at Victoria Aesthetic?
Every PRP treatment, from the blood draw to the final pass, is performed by Dr. Eric Licea at our clinic in Mont Fleuri, Mahé, with a single-use kit opened in front of you.
Why is it called a vampire facial?
Marketing, and the photographs. The treatment is platelet-rich plasma applied with microneedling, and the plasma is straw-coloured rather than red. The name stuck because the blood draw makes a better headline than the centrifuge does.
Does it hurt?
The blood draw feels like any blood test. Numbing cream is applied before the needling or injections, so most people describe pressure and heat rather than pain. The face feels tight and warm afterwards.
How many sessions will I need?
For a PRP vampire facial Seychelles patients plan with us, three sessions, four to six weeks apart, is the standard course, with maintenance once or twice a year. Skin concerns such as scarring usually need the full course before the change is convincing.
When will I see results?
A glow appears within the first week. The real change is collagen, which takes weeks to months, so the honest assessment point is after the third session rather than after the first.
Is it safe?
The plasma is your own, so allergy and rejection are not concerns. What matters is where it is done: single-use kits, labelled tubes, sterile handling and a doctor, Dr. Eric Licea, performing the procedure. This is a medical treatment, not a spa service.
Who should not have PRP?
Anyone with a platelet or clotting disorder, on anticoagulant therapy, with an active infection or acne flare in the treatment area, during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or undergoing certain cancer treatments. All of this is reviewed before a needle is opened.
Can it be combined with other treatments?
Yes. PRP is frequently alternated with polynucleotides, paired with Profhilo® for hydration, or added to a hair protocol. What it cannot replace is volume or muscle relaxation.
