WHAT IS BREAST AUGMENTATION?

More volume, better shape, in harmony with you.

Breast augmentation increases breast size and improves shape and symmetry. Women choose it to balance their figure, to restore volume lost after pregnancy, breastfeeding or weight loss, or to correct breasts of different sizes.

It can be done with silicone gel implants, placed through a small, discreet incision, or with lipofilling — your own fat, gently harvested by liposuction and transferred to the breasts for a more modest, very natural increase.

TWO TECHNIQUES

Implants or your own fat? Compare them side by side.

Silicone gel implants

The most predictable way to add volume. Cohesive silicone implants come in round or anatomical shapes and different profiles, and are placed under the breast tissue or under the chest muscle through an incision in the breast fold, around the areola or in the armpit.

WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW

An informed decision is the best decision.

As the US FDA explains for patients, breast implants are not lifetime devices: the longer you have them, the more likely they are to need replacement, and further surgery may be needed at some point.

We discuss every risk openly at consultation — including capsular contracture, rupture, the rare implant-associated lymphoma (BIA-ALCL) and symptoms some women describe as breast implant illness — and give you written information to take home.

  • ∞

    Not lifetime devices

Plan for possible replacement over the years.

  • CC

    Capsular contracture

Firm scar tissue around the implant, the most common reason for revision.

  • MRI

    Monitoring

Ultrasound or MRI may be advised to check silicone implants over time.

  • !

    Rare risks

BIA-ALCL is rare and treatable when found early; report any late swelling.

QUESTIONS

Breast augmentation, answered.

How much does breast augmentation cost in Seychelles?

At Victoria Aesthetics, breast augmentation with implants starts from SCR 112,000 and fat transfer breast augmentation from SCR 82,000. You receive a written quote after your SCR 1,500 surgical consultation.

Implants or fat transfer: which is better?

Implants give a larger, more predictable increase. Fat transfer gives a modest, very natural result and contours the donor area, but some fat is reabsorbed. We recommend the option that fits your body and goals.

How long is the recovery?

Most women return to light work after about a week. Avoid heavy lifting, swimming and sport for around six weeks, and wear the support bra as advised.

Will there be scars?

Implants need a short incision, usually hidden in the breast fold, around the areola or in the armpit; it fades over about a year. Fat transfer leaves only tiny entry points.

Do implants last forever?

No. Breast implants are not lifetime devices; many last well over a decade, but replacement may be needed at some point. We explain how to monitor them.

Can I breastfeed after breast augmentation?

Many women can, especially when the incision is in the breast fold and the implant is placed behind the muscle, but it cannot be guaranteed. Tell us if you plan future pregnancies.

Who performs breast augmentation Seychelles patients book at the clinic?

Surgery is planned and led by Dr. Eric Licea, founder and medical director, in private operating theatres authorised by the Seychelles Ministry of Health, with a specialist anaesthesia team.

How old do I need to be?

We only perform cosmetic breast augmentation for adults aged 18 and over, after a full consultation, and we encourage you to take time to think before booking surgery.
