HAIR CLINIC · VICTORIA AESTHETIC & WELLNESS CLINIC · MAHÉ, SEYCHELLES
Exosome hair regeneration in Seychelles.
Signalling delivered where the follicle can read it.
Exosome mesotherapy combined with low-level laser therapy, in a thirty-minute session with nothing to recover from. Delivered into the scalp at follicle depth, as a course of six sessions a fortnight apart — and offered only after a scalp assessment tells us it is the right thing for your type of hair loss.

DOWNTIMENone
WHEN YOU START NOTICING IT
The hair in the comb is the last thing to change, not the first.
By the time hair visibly thins, the follicle has usually been shrinking for a while. Each cycle it produces a slightly finer, slightly shorter hair, until what grows is too fine to cover anything. That process is called miniaturisation, and it is gradual — which is exactly why it is easy to miss until a parting widens or a hairline moves back.
The practical consequence is that timing matters more than almost anything else. A follicle that has become miniaturised can often still be influenced. One that has been dormant for years, with no hair at all, generally cannot.
This is why every course here starts with a scalp assessment rather than with a session. If your pattern of hair loss is not one that responds to this treatment, we will say so.
WHY THE CYCLE MATTERS
Every hair on your head is somewhere in a four-phase cycle.
Around eighty-five per cent of your hair is growing right now. The rest is resting, shedding or starting again. Pattern hair loss does not stop the cycle — it shortens the growing phase a little more each time around. Select a phase to see what happens in it.
The ring is drawn roughly to scale: the growing phase occupies almost all of it.
ANAGEN · THE GROWING PHASE
The follicle is active and the hair lengthens by roughly a centimetre a month. How long this phase lasts is what decides how long your hair can grow before it is released — and it is the phase that shortens, cycle after cycle, in pattern hair loss.
- How long
- Two to seven years
- Share of your hair
- About 85 to 90 per cent at any moment
- What goes wrong
- Each cycle starts a little shorter, so the hair produced is finer and briefer — visible thinning rather than visible loss
WHAT IS BEING APPLIED
Not a drug, and not a transplant. A signal.
EXOSOMES
Very small vesicles that carry instructions between cells.
Cells do not only touch each other — they also send packages. Exosomes are tiny membrane-bound vesicles released by cells, carrying proteins, lipids and genetic messengers from one cell to another. They are a normal part of how tissue coordinates repair, which is why they have become one of the most studied objects in regenerative medicine.
Applied to the scalp, the intention is to deliver that signalling close to the follicle, where it may influence the cells that govern the growth cycle and the small vessels that supply them. It is an area of active research rather than a settled treatment, and it is offered here as part of a plan, not as a cure for every kind of hair loss.
What this is not. It does not replace follicles that are gone, and it is not a hair transplant. Where a transplant is the right answer, that is what we will tell you.
AND THE LASER IN THE SAME VISIT
Low-level laser therapy, included in every session.
Each session finishes with low-level laser therapy over the treated area. Photobiomodulation of the scalp has been used in hair clinics for years and is the better-established half of this combination — it is what the session on our price list means by + LLLT.
The two are given together rather than as separate appointments, which is why a session takes thirty minutes rather than two visits' worth of your afternoon.
Low level intense laser therapy
THE SESSION, STEP BY STEP
Thirty minutes, and you leave looking like yourself.
Nothing needs preparing beforehand. Come with clean, dry hair and no product in it.
-
STEP 01
Scalp assessment
Your pattern of hair loss, how long it has been going on, your medical history and anything else that could be driving it. This decides whether the treatment is appropriate at all.
-
STEP 02
Topical anaesthetic, where it is needed
Applied to the scalp beforehand and given time to work. It is applied before anything else and is never mixed into the preparation itself.
-
STEP 03
Microneedling, if indicated
Fine channels opened across the treated area, which is what allows what follows to reach the depth where the follicle sits rather than sitting on the surface.
-
STEP 04
The exosome preparation
Reconstituted at the time of use with sterile saline and its buffer, then delivered across the scalp by mesotherapy. This is the part that takes the longest, and it is still only minutes.
-
STEP 05
Low-level laser, then home
The session closes with laser over the treated area. You walk out immediately — no dressing, no downtime, and nothing visible beyond a little redness that settles within the day.
THE COURSE
Six sessions, a fortnight apart. Then maintenance.
This is not a single-appointment treatment, and a course that stops at session two is a course that will disappoint you. Here is the whole shape of it, in days rather than in promises.
Maintenance afterwards
Which of the two applies to you is a clinical decision, taken on how your scalp has actually responded.
DAY 0
Session 1
The first application, after your assessment.
DAY 15
Session 2
Too early to judge anything. Keep going.
DAY 30
Session 3
Some patients report less shedding around here.
DAY 45
Session 4
Halfway. Photographs are taken for comparison.
DAY 60
Session 5
Texture and the way hair sits are usually the first things to change.
DAY 75
Session 6
The course closes. What grows next is what it is judged on.
MONTH 3
Maintenance
A single session every three months to hold what the course achieved.
WHAT CHANGES FIRST
Shedding and texture
Most patients notice how much hair comes away, and how the hair feels, before they notice how much there is.
WHEN GROWTH IS JUDGED
Months 3 to 6
Hair grows roughly a centimetre a month, so a follicle that restarts in month one is not visible in month one. This is the honest window.
HOW IT IS MEASURED
The same photograph
Standardised photographs at the start, at session four and at the end, in the same light and the same position. Memory is a poor instrument for this.
The treatment that works is the one chosen for the hair loss you actually have.
HOW IT COMPARES
Three routes in the hair clinic, side by side.
They are not rivals, and they are frequently combined. What follows is what each one actually involves, so the choice at your assessment is an informed one.
| Exosome mesotherapy + LLLT | PRP hair restoration | Low-level laser alone | |
|---|---|---|---|
| What is applied | An exosome preparation reconstituted with saline and buffer | A concentrate of your own platelets, drawn and spun on the day | Light only — nothing is injected |
| Blood draw | No | Yes | No |
| Session length | 30 minutes | 45 minutes | Short, and repeated often |
| Standard course | 6 sessions, 15 days apart | 3 sessions | A continuing schedule |
| Maintenance | Every 3 or 6 months, by clinical judgement | Every 3 months | Ongoing |
| Downtime | None | None | None |
| Often chosen when | You would rather not have blood drawn, or PRP has been tried | You prefer a treatment that uses only your own biology | It is added to either of the others, or used between courses |
IS IT RIGHT FOR YOU
Honest about who it suits.
USUALLY A GOOD FIT WHEN
- Your hair is thinning rather than gone, and the follicles are still producing something.
- You are early rather than late — a widening parting, a receding line, more shedding than usual.
- You would rather not have blood drawn, or PRP has already been tried.
- You can commit to six sessions over about three months, and to maintenance after.
NOT THE RIGHT TREATMENT WHEN
- The area has been completely bald for years, with no hair of any kind.
- The hair loss has an untreated cause behind it — thyroid, iron, a medication, a scalp condition. That gets treated first.
- There is an active infection or inflammation on the scalp.
- You are pregnant or breastfeeding, or you have a condition that makes the treatment inadvisable. We will tell you at the assessment.
- What you want is the density only a transplant can give. We will say so rather than sell you a course.
INVESTMENT
What it costs.
Session prices are as listed in our booking system. The scalp assessment comes first, because the course cannot be recommended before we have seen your scalp.

MEDICAL AUTHORITY
Dr. Eric Licea, MD
Victoria Aesthetic & Wellness Clinic · Hair clinic
Dr. Licea assesses the scalp, decides whether this treatment is appropriate for your pattern of hair loss, and sets the course and the maintenance interval. The treatment is available at Victoria Aesthetic Clinic in Mahé.
Courses are not sold at the assessment. You are told what is appropriate, what it costs and what it can reasonably achieve, and you decide afterwards.
WHAT WE WILL NOT PROMISE
We will not tell you how many hairs you will have in six months, because nobody can.
Exosome therapy for hair is an area of active research, and the honest position is that responses vary between patients and that this is a treatment considered within a plan rather than a guaranteed outcome. What we do commit to is an assessment that tells you what kind of hair loss you have, a clear statement of whether this is the right route for it, standardised photographs so that progress is measured rather than remembered, and a conversation at the end of the course about whether continuing is worth your money.
QUESTIONS
Frequently asked questions.
How is the treatment actually performed?
A topical anaesthetic is applied to the scalp first and given time to work, with microneedling where it is indicated. The exosome preparation is then reconstituted at the time of use with sterile saline and its buffer, and delivered across the scalp by mesotherapy at the depth of the follicle. The session closes with low-level laser therapy. Nothing is mixed into the preparation other than its own saline and buffer.
What is the recommended course?
Six sessions, fifteen days apart — about three months of treatment — followed by a maintenance session every three months, or every six, depending on how your scalp has responded. That interval is a clinical decision rather than a standard package.
How long before I see anything?
Reduced shedding and a change in texture tend to come first, often during the course itself. Visible change in density is judged between months three and six, because hair grows at roughly a centimetre a month and a follicle that restarts today is not visible next week. No timeframe can be guaranteed for any individual.
Does it hurt?
Most patients describe it as very tolerable. Topical anaesthetic is applied beforehand where it is needed, and the session lasts half an hour. Some redness and tenderness on the scalp afterwards is normal and usually settles the same day.
Is there any downtime?
None. You return to your day immediately. We ask you to leave the scalp alone for the rest of the day — no washing, no product, no swimming, no direct sun — and you are back to normal the following morning.
How is it different from PRP?
PRP uses a concentrate made from your own blood, drawn and spun on the day, over a course of three sessions. This treatment involves no blood draw, runs over six sessions fifteen days apart, and includes low-level laser therapy in the same visit. Many patients have tried PRP first; some combine the two. The comparison table above sets both out side by side.
Can it be combined with other treatments?
Yes, and it frequently is. It can run alongside medical treatment for hair loss, and it can be used before or after a hair transplant where the surgeon considers it appropriate. What is combined with what is decided at your assessment, not in advance.
Will I need to keep doing it forever?
Pattern hair loss is a continuing process, so maintaining a result generally means maintaining the treatment — a session every three to six months. If the course has not given you enough to be worth maintaining, we will say that plainly rather than selling you the next one.
Who performs the treatment?
Dr. Eric Licea assesses the scalp and sets the course. The treatment is carried out at the clinic in Victoria, Mahé, under medical supervision.
What does it cost?
The scalp assessment is SCR 900 and is fully redeemable against your treatment. A single session is SCR 4,800 and a pack of three is SCR 13,500, which works out at SCR 4,500 a session. The recommended initial course of six sessions is taken as two packs of three.

BEFORE YOU BOOK A COURSE
Hair loss deserves a diagnosis before it gets a treatment.
- Hair that has come out suddenly, in patches, or in handfuls over weeks needs assessing before any course is started.
- Thyroid disease, iron deficiency, recent illness, significant weight loss, childbirth and several common medications all cause hair loss, and all are treated differently.
- Redness, scaling, itching, pain or scarring on the scalp should be examined first — scarring alopecias do not respond to this treatment.
- Tell us about every medicine and supplement you take, and about any blood-clotting disorder or anticoagulant.
- If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, tell us at the assessment.

THE FIRST STEP
Start with the scalp, not with the session.
An assessment tells you what kind of hair loss you have and whether this is the right treatment for it. If it is not, you will be told — and pointed at what is.
