What to expect.
- Swelling, bruising, tightness or numbness under the chin for one to two weeks.
- Wear the compression chin strap as advised, especially at night, for the first days.
- Avoid strenuous exercise, saunas and sun on the area for about a week.
- Keep a stable weight — new fat can still accumulate in remaining fat cells.
