Radiofrequency Facial SeychellesGentle warmth today. Firmer skin in the months ahead.

A radiofrequency facial Seychelles patients choose for a natural, no-downtime lift: controlled radiofrequency energy warms the deeper layer of the skin, tightens existing collagen and prompts the skin to build new collagen over the following months. It feels like a warm massage, and you go straight back to your day.

WHAT IS A RADIOFREQUENCY FACIAL?

Heat, used precisely, to rebuild support.

From our late twenties, the skin makes less collagen each year, and sun, heat and stress speed this up. The result is softer contours, fine lines and skin that no longer bounces back.

Radiofrequency (RF) passes a gentle electrical current through the skin. The tissue resists it and turns that energy into heat in the dermis, the deeper supporting layer, while the surface stays comfortable. The warmth makes existing collagen fibres contract, which gives an immediate subtle tightening, and triggers fibroblasts to produce new collagen and elastin over the following months.

WHAT THE EVIDENCE SAYS

Natural results, on collagen’s timetable.

The American Academy of Dermatology explains that non-invasive radiofrequency causes little or no downtime, that results appear gradually so they look natural, and that the best result shows at about six months because the body needs time to make collagen.

The same guidance is clear about limits: skin tightening suits people with a small amount of sagging, at a stable weight and with good sun protection. With a lot of loose skin, it may not help.

AFTER A MEDICAL OR SURGICAL PROCEDURE

Radiofrequency for your recovery.

After selected procedures, such as lipolaser or other contouring treatments, Dr. Licea may add radiofrequency sessions to your plan to support skin retraction and comfort while you heal. Timing and number of sessions are set by the doctor.

  • Only when the doctor confirms the area has healed enough.
  • Planned as part of your treatment, not as a standalone facial.
  • Ask our team about the post-procedure RF add-on when you book.

AFTER YOUR SESSION

Simple aftercare.

  • Mild warmth or pinkness for an hour or two is normal.
  • Drink water and keep the skin well moisturised.
  • Use sunscreen daily: sun exposure breaks down the collagen you are building.
  • Complete the course and book maintenance as advised.

WHEN IT IS NOT SUITABLE

We will not treat, or will wait, if you:

  • Have a pacemaker, defibrillator or other implanted electronic device.
  • Have metal implants, plates or screws in the treatment area.
  • Are pregnant, or have an active skin infection, cold sore, sunburn or open wound.
  • Had fillers or threads in the area recently: we time RF around them.

QUESTIONS

Radiofrequency facial, answered.

How much does a radiofrequency facial cost in Seychelles?

At Victoria Aesthetics a facial radiofrequency session costs SCR 1,035, and the RF Pack 6 course costs SCR 6,680.

Does radiofrequency hurt?

No. It feels like a warm massage. The energy is adjusted to your comfort throughout the session, and there is no anaesthetic or needle involved.

How many sessions will I need?

Most people do a course of about six sessions, then maintenance every few months. Your therapist sets the spacing for your skin.

When will I see results?

The skin can look fresher and slightly tighter the same day. Firming builds gradually as new collagen forms and is best at around six months.

Is there any downtime?

No. Mild pinkness fades within an hour or two, and you can put on make-up and go back to your day.

Is it safe for darker skin?

Yes. Radiofrequency does not target pigment the way some lasers do, so it is suitable for all skin tones when used at the right settings.

What is the difference between radiofrequency and HIFU?

Radiofrequency warms the dermis to firm the skin and improve texture over a course of sessions. HIFU focuses ultrasound deeper, to the lifting layer, usually in a single session. They combine well for moderate sagging.

Who performs the treatment?

Sheena Charles, our skin therapist, performs the sessions under the medical direction of Dr. Eric Licea, founder and medical director.
