WHY A PROFESSIONAL FACIAL?
Clean, calm skin in an island climate.
Heat, humidity, sweat and sunscreen are a daily mix in Seychelles, and they clog pores fast. A professional facial goes further than home care: proper exfoliation, safe extraction without squeezing damage, actives in effective strengths and a massage that leaves you relaxed.
Every facial is adapted to your skin type and tone. When your skin needs more than a facial, such as treatment for active acne or a changing mole, our doctor is a few steps away.

Clear pores
Exfoliation and careful extraction.
Hydration
Masks and serums for a strong barrier.
Even glow
Brightening for dull or uneven tone.
Real relaxation
Massage, quiet and time for you.
INSIDE A DEEP CLEANSING FACIAL
What happens on the treatment bed.
Every facial follows the same careful order; the products, strengths and finishing steps change with your skin. For a measured view of your skin, ask for a Derma Vision skin analysis.
- 01
Look & cleanse
A close look at your skin and a double cleanse to lift make-up, sunscreen and oil.
- 02
Exfoliate
An enzyme, acid or resurfacing step, chosen for your skin, softens dead cells and pore contents.
- 03
Extract & treat
Gentle extractions where needed, then the actives of your facial: vitamin C, hydration, calming or brightening.
- 04
Mask, massage, protect
A mask and massage, a finishing serum and sunscreen, with simple home-care advice.
MEDICAL MICRONEEDLING
When a facial is not enough: collagen induction.
Dermapen microneedling makes thousands of tiny, controlled channels in the skin. The skin repairs them by producing new collagen and elastin, which softens acne scars, enlarged pores, fine lines and uneven texture over the following months.
According to the American Academy of Dermatology, acne scars usually need three to five sessions two to four weeks apart, with redness for a few days. We postpone it if you have active breakouts, a tan or sunburn, or took isotretinoin in the last month.

Beautiful results. Honest expectations.
A facial gives clean, hydrated, brighter skin straight away, but the surface renews in about a month, so regular sessions and good home care keep the result. Some ingredients have real evidence behind them: a review in the Journal of Clinical and Aesthetic Dermatology (2017) describes topical vitamin C as an antioxidant that supports collagen and can help fade pigmentation, while noting the studies are small.
For scars and deeper texture, microneedling has stronger support than any facial. And nothing replaces daily sunscreen.
- 1 day
Instant freshness
Cleaner, smoother, more hydrated skin the same day.
- 4–6 w
Best as a routine
Regular facials keep pores clear and tone even.
- 3–5
Courses for scars
Microneedling sessions, a few weeks apart.
- !
Limits
Facials do not lift sagging skin or treat moderate or severe acne on their own.

AFTER YOUR FACIAL
Simple aftercare.
- Use sunscreen every morning and reapply outdoors, especially after peels and brightening facials.
- Avoid strong sun, sauna and swimming pools for 24 to 48 hours.
- Skip retinoids, acids and scrubs for two to three days; after microneedling, wait 24 hours before make-up.
- Come back every four to six weeks, or as planned for your course.
WHEN WE WAIT OR ADAPT
Tell us before your facial if you:
- Have sunburn, an active cold sore, or rosacea or eczema flaring on the face.
- Have taken isotretinoin recently, or had a peel, laser or injectables in the last two weeks.
- Are pregnant: we avoid certain acids and electrical devices.
- Have painful, deep or pus-filled acne, or a mole that is changing: the doctor sees you first.

QUESTIONS
Facials, answered.
How much does a facial cost in Seychelles?
At Victoria Aesthetics our facials start at SCR 550 for the 30-minute Express Glow Facial. Most signature facials cost between SCR 999 and SCR 1,999, and Crystal Glow Resurfacing is SCR 2,499.
Which facial is best for deep cleansing?
The Luminous Glow Facial (Deep Cleanse) is our classic deep cleansing facial, with extractions, mask and massage. For very congested skin, the Hydrafacial adds vacuum extraction and hydration in one step.
How do I choose the right facial?
Use the facial finder on this page, or book any facial: Sheena starts with a look at your skin, using our Derma Vision skin analyzer when it helps, and adjusts the plan to what she finds.
Is there downtime after a facial?
Most of our facials have no downtime; the skin may look a little pink for an hour or two. Peels can cause light flaking for a day or two, and microneedling leaves redness for one to three days.
How often should I have a facial?
Every four to six weeks suits most people, roughly the time the skin takes to renew its surface. Courses for acne, dark spots or scars are planned closer together.
Are your facials suitable for darker skin?
Yes. We choose acids, strength and technique for each skin tone to lower the risk of irritation and dark marks, and we always pair brightening treatments with sun protection.
What is the difference between a facial and microneedling?
A facial works on the surface: it cleanses, exfoliates, hydrates and calms. Microneedling creates tiny controlled channels that stimulate collagen, so it treats scars, texture and fine lines, with a little downtime.
Who performs the facials?
Sheena Charles, our skin therapist, performs the facials. Dr. Eric Licea, founder and medical director, oversees the protocols and sees you if your skin needs medical treatment, for example for moderate or severe acne.
