Botox Seychelles. Expression intact, lines softened.

Botox Seychelles, performed by Dr. Eric Licea: micro-injections placed in the specific muscles that carve lines into the skin, so those muscles relax and the lines settle. About fifteen minutes, with no downtime and no frozen look.

AT A GLANCE

It relaxes muscles. The skin above them does the rest.

Botox Seychelles treatment consists of micro-injections, in small doses, placed directly into the facial muscles that create persistent lines. Those muscles relax for a prolonged period, and the skin folding over them smooths out.

It works on dynamic wrinkles, the ones your expressions carve: frown lines, forehead lines and crow’s feet. Lines already etched at rest usually need a different tool, and we will tell you which at the consultation.

HOW IT WORKS

Three things the same molecule does.

Dose is individual

Softens expression lines

Frown lines, forehead lines and crow’s feet, treated at the muscle rather than on the surface.

Lifts by rebalancing

Relaxing the muscles that pull the face downwards lets the structures above lift subtly. A brow lift without surgery.

The goal here is a natural, elegant result, not immobility. Dosing is decided on your anatomy and on how your face actually moves, never on a standard chart.

WHAT HAPPENS, AND WHEN

Nothing happens on day one. That is normal.

Botox does not work on the day you have it. Drag the marker to see the honest sequence, from the appointment to the moment the effect fades and movement returns.

As time goes by the treatment degrades progressively. Most patients plan their next session before the lines fully return, which keeps the result even.

Day 0

The appointment

Fifteen minutes, a series of micro-injections, and you walk out. Mild redness, small bumps or slight swelling at the injection points are common and settle quickly.

THE HOUSE STYLE

We would rather you came back for more than asked us for less.

How a session runs

YOUR VISIT

Fifteen minutes, with rules on either side.

Clinic or at home

  1. 01

    Before you come

Avoid blood-thinning medication and supplements, which reduces the chance of bruising, and tell us about everything you take. Arrive with a clean face and no make-up on the area.

  2. 02

    The assessment

The doctor watches your face move, not just at rest. Dose and injection points are mapped to your own muscle pattern, and the areas worth treating are agreed before anything is drawn up.

  3. 03

    The injections

A series of micro-injections with a very fine needle. Most people describe a quick sting. The session itself takes about fifteen minutes.

  4. 04

    The next 24 hours

Stay upright for four hours, skip the gym, avoid hot showers, steam rooms and saunas for at least 24 hours, and do not rub or massage the treated area.

  5. 05

    The two-week review

The effect is complete at around two weeks. That is when we look at the result together and fine-tune if a small adjustment is warranted.

FOR MEN

Brotox, done properly.

Male faces have stronger muscles and different proportions, so they need higher doses in some areas and a lighter hand in others. Done correctly, the forehead and eye area look revitalised and the face still reads as yours. Two areas, fifteen minutes, back to work.

SAFETY

What is normal, and what is not.

Mild redness, small swellings at the injection points and occasional bruising are expected and short-lived. Anything beyond that is worth a phone call, and you leave with a number that reaches the clinic.

Botox is a prescription medicine. It is administered here by a doctor, after an assessment, and never sold as a package to be used on a schedule that suits anyone but you.

Expected

  • Redness at the injection points for a short while.
  • Small raised bumps that settle within the hour.
  • Occasional light bruising, more likely on blood thinners.
  • A heavy feeling in the forehead during the first week.

Tell us first

  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding.
  • Neuromuscular conditions.
  • Any infection or active skin condition in the area.
  • Previous treatment elsewhere, and when it was done.

If you come three times a year, membership pays for itself.

QUESTIONS

Before you book.

Who performs Botox Seychelles treatments at Victoria Aesthetic?

Every Botox treatment is planned and injected by Dr. Eric Licea at our clinic in Mont Fleuri, Mahé, after a face-to-face assessment of your anatomy and how you move your face.

Will I look frozen?

Not if the dose is right. The frozen look comes from treating every muscle at maximum dose. Here the dose is mapped to how your face actually moves, and we would rather under-treat and top up at the two-week review than overshoot.

Does it hurt?

The needle is very fine and each injection takes a second. Most people describe a brief sting. No anaesthetic is usually needed.

How long does it last?

For most Botox Seychelles patients, typically three to four months, then the effect degrades progressively and movement returns. Duration varies with the area, the dose, your metabolism and how expressive you are.

When will I see it?

Nothing on day one. The first change appears around day three to five, and the result is complete at about two weeks, which is when it should be judged.

Can Botox treat medical problems?

Yes. It is used for excessive sweating in the underarms, hands and feet, for teeth grinding, for the prevention of chronic migraine and for certain muscle spasms. Those are medical indications and are assessed as such.

What should I avoid afterwards?

Stay upright for four hours, avoid hot showers, steam rooms and saunas for at least 24 hours, skip strenuous exercise that day, and do not rub or massage the treated area.

Can I have it at home?

Yes. Botox is one of the treatments our doctors provide through the in-home service, in Mahé and on request elsewhere, under the same clinical standards as in the clinic.

Consultation is key. Your areas, your dose and your price are agreed face to face with the doctor who performs the treatment.
