TEAR-TROUGH FILLER
The goal is not to fill a groove. It is to improve the face.
More filler under the eye does not automatically mean a better result. Direct filler may be inappropriate with:
- Significant puffiness, fat bags or a tendency to swelling
- Anatomy unsuitable for direct correction
- Very thin skin with a risk of visible product
- Previous filler complications
- A mainly pigmentary or vascular problem
Sometimes the better strategy is to treat the midface, improve skin quality, treat pigment, observe, consider surgery, or simply not inject the tear trough.
