What we can and cannot guarantee

Aesthetic and medical results are variable from person to person and many elements influence them. Although we do our best to achieve the result you desire, results cannot always be guaranteed. Ageing is a complex process influenced by many variables, and it does not stop.

Most people need a combination of treatments over a variable period — from weeks to months — followed by intermittent maintenance treatments to preserve the results obtained. This approach gives you the greatest chance of a natural, genuine and long-lasting rejuvenation.

What we do promise and guarantee are the highest possible standards in products used, human team, comfort, discretion, and safe and personalised attention, regardless of the treatment.

Your decisions and responsibilities

  • You are free to accept or reject our treatment proposal at any stage of the process. Please discuss your concerns and doubts thoroughly with our team before agreeing to a personalised treatment plan.
  • To be emphatic: you agree to purchase the treatment offered, not the result of the treatment performed.
  • You are responsible for the cost of additional treatments until you achieve the results you expect.
  • Your responsibility also covers the cost of resolving complications that may occur during or because of the treatments you undergo. We will do everything possible to limit such risks, following up-to-date protocols with sufficiently trained personnel.
  • Where complications are resolved in our centre, the charges for materials will be borne by you and we will cover the cost of performing the work.

We deliver the service “as is”, “with all faults” and “as available”, and the full risk as to satisfactory quality, execution, precision, safety and effort is with you. APPOINTMENTS

Booking Policy

At Victoria Aesthetic & Wellness Clinic we reserve professional time, facilities and resources for every patient. This policy explains how to confirm your appointment and how changes, cancellations and advance payments are handled.

1. Deposit to confirm your appointment

To confirm a consultation or treatment, a 50% advance payment of the amount quoted by the clinic for that appointment is required, in Seychelles rupees (SCR).

Before you pay, our team will confirm in writing:

  • The consultation or treatment booked.
  • The applicable price and any authorised discounts, where relevant.
  • The exact deposit amount and the remaining balance.
  • The cancellation or rescheduling notice period that applies.

The deposit is part of the price of the service, not an additional charge. The remaining balance is paid before the service begins, unless a payment schedule has been agreed in writing.

If a treatment still requires medical assessment and has no defined quotation, the booking is for the consultation, not for a treatment that has not yet been indicated.

2. Payment methods and confirmation

The deposit can be paid by bank transfer to the clinic’s official account or at reception before your appointment. Online payment will be available soon; until then, our team will give you instructions for the available payment methods.

For bank transfers, please send the proof of payment showing the patient’s name and the appointment date. Your booking is confirmed once the clinic has verified the payment and sent you confirmation.

Requesting a date or sending a proof of payment does not, on its own, constitute a confirmed appointment.

3. Consultations and treatments

A medical consultation includes a professional assessment and may conclude with a treatment recommendation, a request for tests, a referral, or a decision not to carry out a procedure. Paying for a consultation does not oblige you to purchase a treatment, nor does it guarantee that you are a suitable candidate for one.

Where a benefit allows the consultation fee to be deducted from a treatment, our team will explain the conditions in advance and show the deduction on your account. Deposits already paid are always taken into account to avoid duplicate charges.

4. Cancellations and rescheduling

To change or cancel an appointment, please contact the clinic with the following notice:

  • General appointments: at least 24 hours before the appointment time.
  • Procedures that require specific preparation: at least 48 hours before the appointment time. This will be indicated when you book.

When a change is requested within the notice period, your deposit can be applied to a new date, subject to availability and the conditions of the booking.

Requests for definitive cancellation and refund are handled according to the conditions communicated before payment and the patient’s applicable rights.

If a cancellation or change is requested outside the notice period, or the patient does not attend, the deposit may be forfeited under the conditions accepted for that booking, and a new deposit may be required for a new appointment.

Medical emergencies and other exceptional circumstances are reviewed individually; relevant documentation may be requested.

Forfeiting the deposit for one appointment does not, in itself, mean losing the full balance of a programme or the automatic cancellation of the patient’s other appointments.

5. Changes made by the clinic

If the clinic needs to change an appointment, we will inform you and offer a new date.

If we cannot provide the booked service and you do not accept an alternative, the amount paid in advance for the service not provided will be refunded.

No penalties apply to patients for cancellations made by the clinic.

6. Medical safety and treatments not carried out

Any procedure depends on professional assessment, patient safety and informed consent.

If the clinician decides that a treatment should not go ahead for medical reasons, the reason will be explained to you, together with whether it should be postponed or ruled out.

Where a treatment is ruled out because of a medical contraindication, the amount paid in advance for that treatment only will be refunded. A consultation that has taken place keeps its fee, unless a specific condition or benefit applies.

A treatment will never be carried out simply because a deposit has been paid.

7. Packages and programmes

Session packages and programmes for weight management, hormonal care or other services come with their own written conditions.

Before payment, we will set out the services included, the price, the payment schedule, the validity period and the conditions for interruption or cancellation.

A deposit already applied to the price of a package or programme will not be charged again for sessions that are paid for.

If you ask to interrupt a programme, the clinic will provide a breakdown of the services delivered, the payments received and the corresponding balance, handled according to the conditions accepted when you purchased it and your applicable rights.

Package validity and any conditions are always agreed in writing before purchase; no conditions will be applied that were not communicated and accepted in advance.

Surgery, VA Wellness Club memberships and financing plans keep their own conditions, communicated and accepted in advance. Any exception to this policy will be identified before payment.

8. Punctuality

Please arrive on time so that we have the time needed for your care.

If you are running late, our team will assess whether the appointment can go ahead without compromising safety, quality of care or the following appointments.

If rescheduling is necessary, we will explain how the conditions of your booking apply. A procedure will never be rushed to make up for a late arrival.

9. Communication and acceptance

This policy is shared with you before any deposit is requested. Any special conditions for your booking are also confirmed in writing.

Payment confirms the booking under the conditions previously communicated and accepted; it does not replace medical consent for a treatment.

Updates to this policy apply to new bookings and do not retroactively change conditions already accepted.

Nothing in this policy limits the rights that patients have under the applicable laws of Seychelles.
