Once we review your filled medical intake form, during business hours, to determine if the BHRT is an option for you, we will send you an email message confirming it and continue with the process. The blood test for the hormonal study is a battery of previously established studies and applicable to all patients. In If an extra study is needed, it will be requested during one of your consultations/reviews.
We will send you a lab order by email within 24 hours. You should take that lab order to our partner Laboratory Services Provider to fulfill the blood draw and the results will be available within 2-3 days. Or you can have the blood drawn in the comfort of your house/office. This service is not included in the package.

As convenient, as these tests may be there is no way to track and confirm the identity of the one that took the blood test. Verification is necessary when it comes to blood draws and prescribing medications. Home tests cannot provide that type of verification.
We require blood work after the first 10 weeks of treatment and every 3 months thereafter. These repeated labs are very important to determine how you are responding to the medication and to assess if any changes need to be done to the program.
Yes, patients under treatment already can provide us with labs up to 5 months old because a history of therapy has already been established with the prior physician.
All of our medications are prescribed by a registered physician and dispensed from accredited pharmacies. Medications will only be prescribed after a medical screening and provider consultation.
Once your medical evaluation is completed, including blood test panel, a consultation will be booked, and you will receive a confirmation via email. After your consultation, you can expect to receive your medication within 15 business days.
You will receive it in the comfort of your home. As one of our patients, we can provide you with most, if not all, of your prescribed medication directly from pharmacies associated to Athenea Medical Wellness.
If we must order a medication not included or that we don’t have, you will be issued with a private prescription which can be dispensed at any street pharmacy.
